Mrs. Clara Ware of Springfield died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1968, at Rutledge Manor Nursing Home, age 86. Survived by three nieces, Mrs. Jessie Thomas, Mrs. Velma Keuchler and Mrs. Phoebe Duncan. - IL State Journal, Springfield, IL, 10-31-1968
Services for Mrs. Clara Ware, 86, of Springfield, will be Saturday at W. W. White Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. She was the daughter of Clark and Julia Duncan. Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. S. A. Ware and a brother, Otis B. Duncan. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Otis B. Duncan American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 809.
