George Kembel died last Sunday (Dec. 31, 1917) at the home of his mother in this city after a two day illness of pneumonia. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the German Philadelphia Congregational church, conducted by pastor, Rev.Jacob Morach. The remains were laid to rest in the Ritzville cemetery.

Mr. Kembel was born Jul 1, 1882, in Walla Walla, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kembel. While a child, he removed with his parents to Bickleton, in Klickitat county, residing their until 1895, when the family moved to Adams county. They lived on a farm until a few years agon when they moved to the city. Mr. Kembel's father died several years ago. The deceased leaves to mourn his death, his mother, Mrs. Fred Kembel and four brothers; John, Joe, Henry and William
