John B. Arrington, Jr., 79, passed away Aug. 2, 2009 at his home in Vancouver, WA. He was born June 8, 1930 to John and Ora Arrington, Sr. of Waynesville, NC.

John served in the Army during the Korean War.

John is survived by his wife of 55 1/2 years, Madge; two daughters, Diane (Shawn) Koester and Gail (Steve) Schwesinger of Vancouver, WA; son, Ron (Julie) Arrington of Washougal, WA; grandchildren, Caitlyn and Dylan Koester and Shea Schwesinger, all of Vancouver, WA, Jordan and Dustin (Cheryl) Arrington of Washougal; sister, Juanita Brooks of Waynesville, NC; and brother, Hubert (Gene) Arrington of Brevard, NC.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Briana Schwesinger.

Special thanks to Hospice SW in-home program.

A private service was held at Willamette National Cemetery.
