Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Trinity Methodist church for Jonathan F. Rowe, Ritzville pioneer, who died early last Saturday morning after a prolonged illnes. The Rev. R. D. Decker officiated. Burial was in the Ritzville cemetery. For the last several years Mr. Rowe has been ill and confined to his home here.

Mr. Rowe would have been 83 years old July 14. He was born in Hazel Green, Wisconsin and on Feb. 14, 1889 married Miss Mary Louise Zeiner at Warren, Illinois. The couple came west in 1900, settling in Ritzville.

Besides his widow, he is survived by four sons; Ira of Davenport, Gerald, Clinton and John of Ritzville; three daughters, Mrs. R. W. Rudebaugh and Miss Amelia Rowe, both of Spokane and Mrs. N. S. McMurray of Ritzville.
