Paul Emil Bosch Jr., 81, ended his battle with cancer on August 26th. He was a long time resident of communities north of the river. Paul was born on November 2, 1927 in Jefferson City, MO and graduated from Jefferson City High School. Immediately following graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and served during World War II and was later recalled to active duty during the Korean War.

He was previously a member of the Shrine Drum and Bugle Corps; and longtime member and former Elder of Christ Lutheran Church. He joined the Rotary Club in 1972 and was a District Governor, Past President of the Parkville Rotary Club, and Paul Harris Fellow. Paul held positions of Vice President with I.T.T. Industrial Credit, the First National Bank of Boston and the Sterling Bank in Kansas City. Paul was a world traveler - his favorite place to visit was Turkey.

He is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, sister Ruth Brockmeier, and special friend MaryAnn Gibson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Paul E. Bosch Memorial Scholarship to be established by the Parkville Rotary Club.

Special thanks to the employees at Rose Estates in Overland Park, KS; and Kansas City Hospice.

Son of Paul E. Bosch and Elsie Beck. Brother of Ruth M. Bosch Brockmeier (1930-?) and William "Bill" Bosch (1932-2004).
