WATSON RITES
..Time of services has been set for Ralph O. Watson, 62.
..He died in a Salinas hospital Sunday night following a month's illness. Watson resided at 772 Hastings Ave. He was a native of Bronson, Kan., and moved to Salinas 11 years ago.
..Watson was a veteran of World War II, was a member of Elks Lodge No 1922, Glasgow, Mont., and of the Society of Military Engineers. He was employed at Fort Ord in the electrical maintenance department.
..Surviving are his widow, Margarette Watson, of the family home; a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Tomlinson, Salinas; three sons, George E. Watson, San Jose, Orval Watson, USN, Groton, Conn., and Gordon R. Watson, a student at California State Polytechnic School in San Luis Obispo; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Colwell, Yellow Jacket, Colo., Mrs. Mabel Nichols, Bronson and Mrs. Ruth Donoho, Saco, Mont., and six grandchildren.
..Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in Struve and Laporte Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Carl B. Jones of the First Baptist Church will officiate there and at burial in the Garden of Memories.

..Ralph O. Watson, 62, formerly of Bronson and a brother of Mrs. Roy (Mabel) Nichols of Bronson, died March 9 at a Salinas, California, hospital following a month's illness.
..Mr. Watson was born Jan. 9, 1907, at Bronson, the son of D. Emery and Eva Markle Watson. Leaving Bronson when a young man, he lived at Glasgow and Saco, Mont. before moving to Salinas 11 years ago.
..He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Elks Lodge at Glasgow, and the Society of Military Engineers. He was employed at Ft. Ord in the electrical maintenance department.
..Surviving are his widow Margarette of the home and four children, Mrs. Loretta Tomlinson, Salinas; George E. Watson, San Jose, Calif., Orval G. Watson, U.S.N. Groton, Conn., and Gordon R.
