Julia M. Krueger

Julia M. Krueger, 84, of Wausau and formerly of Merrill, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, at Wausau Manor Nursing Home.

She was born July 18, 1920, in Merrill, daughter of the late John "Jake" and Meta (nee Schielke) Holzem. She married Marvin Krueger on Aug. 15, 1936, in Irma. He preceded her in death October 1983.

Julia had worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Co. for 27 years. She was a former member of Trinity Ladies Aid and Red Cross Volunteers. Julia enjoyed crocheting afghans, playing cards, following the Brewers and Packers and especially being with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. The Rev. David Klemm will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church.

Julia's family would like to thank Wausau Manor and staff for the 41?2 years of wonderful and loving care given to her, especially Mary and Jenny who were with her at the end.
