Mother of Patricia and Ed O'Neill of Cheshire, CT, Marylyn and Brian Howe of Marshfield Hills, Charles W. Sweeney, Jr., of CA, M. Carol Sweeney-Boyd and her husband Charles of Milton, Terence and Diane Sweeney of AZ, Rosemary and Tom Gunning of Norwell, Elizabeth Sweeney of Cape Cod, Joseph and Meg Sweeney of Milton, Bonnie Sweeney and Paul Barnicle of Boston and the late Joan Sweeney and Michele Saulnier. Sister of Mary Brown and William McElhiney both of Woburn and the late Leo, James, Joseph McElhiney and Patricia Riel. Also survived by 24 grandchilden and 4 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton on Tuesday Aug. 25 at 10:30. Relatives and friends invited.

Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave. MILTON on Monday, 4-8PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
