George M. Sims, 66, of South Mill street, died Friday night at the home of Thomas C. Wilson, following a long illness.
He was born in Coles County, Dec. 12, 1873.
Moved to Olney 50 years ago, and for many years worked as a furniture and upholstery repairman.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Walker of Oblong and Mrs. Nora Conour of Denver, Col, and a step-son, Arval Hursta of Olney.
Services were held Monday afternoon with burial at Haven Hill cemetery.
