George C. Waddell, 77, of Mahoney Drive, died Sunday at Humana Hospital- Southwest.
He was a retired car repairman for Louisville & Nashville Railroad, where he had worked for 35 years. Survivors: his wife, the former Marie Alvey; a son, Robert G. Waddell; a sister, Effie Kilkelly; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Clement Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday.
