Funeral services for lifelong Orland resident Almeda E. Johnson, 88, were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Orland Federated Church with Rev. Gene Anderson officiating.
She died Monday at her Orland residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born October 14, 1900 in Kirkwood.
She was a member of the Orland Federated Church, the Friendly Sunshine Circle of the Federated Church, the American War Mothers, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Her husband, Louis A. Johnson, Sr. preceded her in death in 1896.
Survivors include a son, Louis A. Johnson, Jr. of Orland; a daughter, Joyce Cushman of Santa Rosa; a sister, Margaret Johnson of Carmichael; a brother, Sam Long of Portola; six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
