LOGAN--Alma Jacob Pate, 74, of Logan passed away suddenly at the Logan Regional Hospital, Wednesday, June 2, 1993.

He was born January 29, 1919 at Sage, Wyoming to Ezra Greenwood and Ada Rosella Sharp Pate. He married Helen Rose Cluff on Sept. 23, 1943 in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple.
He taught English at Bountiful and Sky View High Schools.

He is survived by his wife of Logan; and children, Donna Galloway of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Robert A. of Pittsfield, Mass.; A. John of Provo, Utah; Alice Nelson of Apache Jct., Arizona; Maran C. of Salt Lake City; and 28 grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Van Valkenburg of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois; and Irene Erickson of Bountiful, Utah; also survive him. Four children preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 1993 at the Logan 27th Ward Chapel, 1450 East 1500 North, with Bishop James C. Blair conducting. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Cranney Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North in Logan and at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
