He was the owner of Queen Mattress and Sporting Company and Restonic of Alabama until his retirement seven years ago.
Mr. Kisber had served as chairman of the national board for Restonic, and was a past president of the Mens Committee of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
He was a member of Temple Beth-El and was an Hadassah associate.
Survivors include: his wife of 41 years, Barbara L. Kisber of Birmingham; two daughters, Laura K. (Ari) Benjaminson of Birmingham, Minda K. (Neil) Gordon of Atlanta,; and five grandchildren, Elizabeth Nomberg, Rachel Nomberg, Joshua Daniel Gordon, Aaron Benjaminson, Adam Benjaminson.
