SULPHUR -- Funeral services for Evan Lawrence LeJeune, 77, of Vinton will be at 11 a.m. today, April 15, in Robison Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Mr. LeJeune died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, in his residence.

Vinton- Funeral services for Evan Lawrence LeJeune, 77, of Vinton will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, in the Robison Funeral Home Chapel.
Bro. Russell Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
Mr. LeJeune died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, in his residence.
He was a native of Iota. He was of the Catholic faith. He was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, American Theater Service Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, and Victory Medal.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth LeJeune and wife Sharon of Crowley; two daughters, Margie Nell Marie LeJeune Van Tassell and husband Owen of Duchesne, Utah, and Gloria Ann LeJeune Doucet and husband J.D.(Joachim Doucet) of Edgerly; four sisters, Mary Lou Hebert of New Iberia, Leta Doucet of Iota, Norma Moreau of Scott and Leona Amy of Eunice; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Gautreaux, one son, Joseph Gary LeJeune; his father, Laurent LeJeune; his mother, Elsa Louise LeJeune; one brother, Joseph B. LeJeune; two sisters, Pearl(Raymond Andrepont) and Bernice Sue(John Louis Miller Jr); and one grandson, David Earl Van Tassell - (6 Apr. 1980-9 Jul 1994).
