Dora Robinson was a member of the VFW, and the Indianapolis Senior Center where she was active in the Kitchen Band, choral group and Red Hat Society. She was an accomplished pianist who learned to play as a child by listening to an older sister practice her piano lessons. Dora played from memory and by ear. If you had a request and she couldn't come up with it, Dora would say, "Hum a little bit of it and see if I remember." She usually did. She is survived by her husband James; a son and 2 daughters, 2 stepdaughters; a brother; 4 sisters; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She passed away at home under Hospice care. Funeral services were held October 29th at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
