Funeral services for Mrs. Delphine Coons who passed away suddenly Sunday night at her home, 855 State street, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Ogdensburg church, with burial in the family lot in Ogdensburg cemetery.Although Mrs. Coons had been in ill health for some time, her death was unexpected.
Mrs. Coons was born on the Peninsula, October 10, 1860 and was united in marriage to George Coons. To this union were born four daughters and one son. Left to mourn their loss besides her husband and one son, Thomas Hansen of Chicago, are three sisters, Mrs. Flora Barnes of this city, Mrs. Esther LaValley of Arcadia and Mrs. Grace Rice of Rapid City. One brother Frank West of Traverse City, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
