Robert W. Pittman 68, Indianapolis, passed away May 19, 2009. He was born May 11, 1941, in Indianapolis, the son of the late William Allen and Madeline (Klieber) Pittman. He was the beloved husband of Rose Anne (Miller) Pittman. Robert owned and operated Great Old Indiana Homes, Inc. He attended Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. He was an avid chess player and he loved nature. He will be remembered as a peaceful man of love and kindness. Surviving is his wife, Rose Anne Pittman, Indianapolis; two daughters, Amy (Ward) Lauer, Westfield; Kelly (Rick) Aldridge, Louisville, KY; six grandchildren, Olivia, Alexandra, Mitchell, Max, Daniel, and Aiden; two sisters, Barbara Thompson, Carmel; and Eileen Pomerance, San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Pittman.
