Daniel Evans was born in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, Jan. 13, 1855, and came with his parents to Michigan in 1878, since then residing near Mears until about 18 years ago, when he went to East Jordan, Mich., where he made his home till June 1915 when he came to the home of his, sister, Mrs. Hannah Kidder, near Mears, where he lived until his death, Dec. 4, 1916.
He leaves 4 sisters: Mrs. Hannah Kidder and Mrs. Anna Lambrix both of Mears; Mrs. Lizzie Strait of Hart, and Mrs. Millie Thompson of East Jordan and Henry of Wisconsin besides many other relatives.
