Rev. John Putney Eastman was the son of Moses C. and Elizabeth "Lizzie" A. Eastman. He was the husband of Mary Ada (Bixby) Eastman. They were married August 18, 1887. Mary died March 20, 1924. Rev. Eastman was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: L 1895 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference 1896 F 1898.

Although the obituary states he is buried here, the entire cemetery was documented for visible markers around the year 2000 and none was found for John, although his wife has a marker. He could possibly be there without a stone.
