Nancy was the daughter of John Adam Berger and Margaret "Peggy" Hedrick. She was born in the town of Berger Store, Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She married Wiley Spaw 13 Oct 1836 in Henry County, Indiana. He died in 1847. They had 6 children: Enos, Margaret Ann, Daniel, Elizabeth, George W. and Darius. She later married Nelson Anderson 25 Mar 1849, in Lewisville, Henry, Indiana, and they had 4 children: Charlotte, Sanford Lackey, John A. and Alice Barbara. She was my gggrandmother.
