Mrs Juanita Blalock Bowman, 89, of Pascagoula, MS for the past 63 years. She went to her final rest on Sunday, December 06,2009. She was born February 15, 1920 in Centerville, MS. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Bowman will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her son, John Jeff Bowman,Jr.; her mother, Hatti Woody; siblings, Z.T. Blalock, Lucille Blalock, Edward Blalock, and Lonnie Blalock; two brothers–in-law Leo Leonard and Clifton Robbins.
Survived by her children, James Bowman, Frances Byrd, Charles Bowman (Kathy), Edward Bowman (Ann), Dennis Bowman(Connie), Donald Bowman(Sheila); sisters, Doris Leonard and Billie Ann Robbins-Woods ; a brother, John Blalock, 23 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 12-2 pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula,MS. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm with Father McDermott officiating. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.
