RITES TOMORROW FOR MISS BOYDSTON

ALAMEDA, Feb. 8 - Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Miss Orrilla G. Boydston, 80, member of a pioneer Alameda County family and a veteran Oakland nurse, who died yesterday at a local hospital after an illness of two years.

Miss Boydston, who lived at 220-C Cypress Street, was the daughter of the late Ulysses A. Boydston, who in 1876 came to Pleasanton from Illinois.

In 1902 Miss Boydston was graduated as a nurse from the old Cooper Medical College (now Stanford Lane Hospital) in San Francisco. She was night superintendent at the old St. Anthony's Hospital (now Jackson Lake Hospital) here for 10 years.

Miss Boydston cared for the wife of President McKinley when she was stricken in San Francisco at the turn of the century.

Miss Boydston was resident of Oakland for 30 years. She was a member of the Alumnae of Stanford Lane.

Survivors include three brothers, William, Alameda; Erwin, Alamo and Charles, Burbank; three nephews, six nieces, 16 grand-nieces and nephews and one great grandniece.

Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Truman's Mortuary Telegraph Avenue and 30th Street.

Friends are invited to attend services Thursday, February 9, 1950, at 10 o'clock a.m. at Truman‘s Chapel, Telegraph Avenue at 30th Street, Oakland.
