He stood 5' 4" tall and had dark hair and blue eyes.
A Civil War veteran, he was drafted from Menallen Township to date February 25, 1865, and mustered into federal service that day in Chambersburg as a private with Co. F, 91st Pennsylvania Infantry. He is listed on the muster-out roll as "absent sick at muster-out" but had died in Auger U.S. Hospital from "albuminuria." His mother sent a box that the army used to mail home his personal effects. His compiled military service records list him as "Keisey J. Cook."
