Jesse Ainsworth, 73, a retired salesman, died at his home here Wednesday morning. He was born July 18, 1888, at Marissa, Ill., and came to Lyons with his parents 71 years ago. He was married to Ruth Smith June 25, 1913, in Lyons.
He belonged to the Episcopal Church, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and IOOF.
Survivors are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Parthena Rains, Bartlesville, Okla.; two sons, Dr. H. Smith Ainsworth, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jesse Jr., Wichita; four sisters, Mrs. Ben Hegler, Wichita, Bess, Colorado Springs, Mrs. Don Ellis, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Charles Grun, St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, David, Wichita, and six grandchildren.
