Otto Cessna
Otto F. CESSNA, 90, Rt. 7, Rochester (Lake Manitou), died at 1:10 a.m. today in Woodlawn Hospital. He had been ill two years.
He was a former president of Peru Production Credit Association.
He was born Jan. 14, 1896 in Fithian, Ill., to Lemuel and Hattie MYERS CESSNA. He moved to Lake Manitou 22 years ago from his farm in Rochester Township after retiring from farming. He was married Sept. 15, 1921 in Rochester to Louise ARMSTRONG, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wilson (Ann) SADOWSKY, Rockford, Ill.; two sons, Robert A. [CESSNA], Rochester, and William A. [CESSNA], Lake Bruce; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildre; two sisters, Alma DAVIS, of California, and Doris [CESSNA], of Florida, and a brother, Dale [CESSNA], of Wisconsin. Preceding in death were two brothers, John and Keith [CESSNA]; two sisters, Minnie and Lorene [CESSNA], and a granddaughter.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery with the Rev. Russell WILBUR officiatig. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society. The Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements.
