Died at the residence of her son-in-law, Col S W Shackelford, near Courtland, Alabama, on the 14th instant, Mrs Tabitha Goode Sherrod, relict of the late Col Benj Sherrod - aged 81 years and 1 month. Mrs S was born in Edgefield District, South Carolina, April 22nd, 1792.
