There are now only two stones remaining bearing dates
prior to I700: that of John Stevens, who died I I April 1662, and that of Timothy Swan, who died on 16 February 1692 in the thirtieth year of his age, supposed to have been brought to his grave by the malice and wickedness of witchcraft.I want to know where my 10 times GGGrandfather Ralph Farnum Jr is buried.
If anyone knows please reach out to me: lesleyjon at yahoo dot com.

Ralph Farnum Jr is likely in the Old North Parish Burying Ground in North Andover, Essex, MA, USA. I visited this cemetery from California in June 2017, but did not find him. The Second Burial Ground down the street has other Farnum family buried there (John Farnum) under the fallen trees. June 2017.

I am making this memorial to not confuse myself with a likely other person named Ralph Farnum, Sr (note the Sr part: Ralph Farnum, Sr d. Jan. 8, 1691-2) is on Andover death register page 432) who is said to have died 8 Jan 1692. This isn't likely an accurate date for "our" Ralph Farnum Jr since he was summoned to be an accuser at the Salem witch trials per a summons dated 30 Jul 1692. It is true that maybe he was listed on the summons, but was in fact dead, but not likely. I concur with other researchers that he likely lived on into the 1700's with wife Elizabeth Holt.

I am more than happy to collaborate in order to figure out the final resting place.

Hi, Lesley,

I'm Jacki Richey, and Ralph Jr was my husband's 8th great grandfather. Thank you for making Ralph's memorial.

You wrote in his bio that he was not the Ralph Farnum who died in January 1692. You gave that proof that he gave testimony in May 1692. There are other records for him after January 1692.

(1) He was listed on the November 1692 tax list for Andover. He was listed as Ralph Farnum Senr. This could not have been his father, as he died in 1648.

(2) He and his wife Elizabeth conveyed land to Ephraim Stevens in 1698.

(3) George Holt conveyed land to his brother-in-law, John Farnum, land that he had received from his "Honored father, Ralph Farnum, deceased since April 1715".
