Alvin Henry Carbino, 52, a lifelong resident of this village, died [7 Jan 1934] at his home on East avenue, off Maple street, at 8:45 o'clock Sunday morning. He had been in ill health for two weeks, pneumonia being the cause of his death.

Mr. Carbino was born in Massena, April 7, 1881, a son of Gordon and Veronica Sharp Carbino. He attended local schools and 33 years ago married Miss Ella May Carbino, of Massena, who died 13 years ago. He married Mrs. Jennie Perry of Brushton, on March 2, 1925.

Surviving are the widow; one son, Elger; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Riley, of East avenue, and Mrs. Kenneth McDonald, of Dexter; one granddaughter, three brothers, Elwood, of Saranac Lake, Ernest, of Pennsylvania, Elmer, of Maple street; one sister, Mrs. Alan Louthian, Haskell street.

Mr. Carbino attended the Methodist Episcopal church. Funeral services were held from the home of the son Elger Carbino, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. Maynard P. Beach, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, was in charge of the services. The body was placed in the receiving vault in Calvary Cemetery and in the spring will be moved to the Reed Cemetery.
