Galt Funeral Tomorrow
Services Will Be in St. Thomas' Church in the Afternoon
The funeral of Norman Galt of Galt & Bro. Jewelers who died early yesterday morning after a month's illness will take place from the residence, 1308 Twentieth Street Northwest tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. There will be services at 2:30 in St. Thomas' Protestant Episcopal Church of which he was a vestryman, Rev. Dr. C. Ernest Smith conducting the services. Burial will be private in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be two directors of the Commercial National Bank, two members of the vestry of St. Thomas' Church and directors from the Arlington Fire Insurance Company and from the Board of the Children's Hospital, the Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade.
Mr. Galt's personality won for him a large circle of friends and his pride in the civic beauty of Washington made him one of the foremost citizens of the District. While his death was not wholly unexpected by his relatives it came as a shock to his many business and social acquaintances who never thought his illness would end fatally.
