Michael Bruce Wren, 51, of Raytown, died at home. He is survived by his mother, Jean Zagar of Show Low, Ariz.; his wife of 27 years, Diane Marie Wren, and their two daughters, Stacey Marie Wren and Stephanie Jean Wren. He and Diane were married on December 28, 1979, in Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by five sisters and a brother. Mike was an Army veteran who was led to Christ while serving in the military, stationed on the island of Okinawa. He served there as a Morse Code Intercept Operator in the Army Security Agency. Mike had just celebrated his thirtieth year of employment at Burns and McDonnell, where he was a Senior Network Analyst. He was an active member of the choir and band at Blue Ridge Bible Church, where he also participated in men's groups and Bible studies. A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, May 15, at Blue Ridge Bible Church.
