♥Phillip B. Allen was born Sept. 25, 1886 to William and Jane Beaty Allen.
He married Lessie Servis Allen and they had 6 children. Pearl Allen Palmer, Laura Allen Bronfin, Baby girl Allen (who died at birth), William Allen and 2 Baby twin girls (who died at birth).
He was a hardworking man who worked in a textile mill called Mays Plant, Burlington Mills Corp. in the carding dept. 33 years where they made military material for the army parachutes, camouflage, and blankets. While he worked there, his company gave him and his family a house to live in and took a little money out of his pay each week for rent until he had enough for a down payment to buy the house. Then they took out some money each paycheck until it was payed off.
His wife Lessie died young and left him to raise their young children alone with only his 15 year old daughter Pearl helping by taking care of the other 2 children, the house and making the family meals.
Later in life he married Eunice Hunter Allen and they had no children together.
He died from old age.
