It appears she was originally interred at Lone Mountain Cemetery in San Francisco which is now defunct. There was once a headstone at Lone Mountain Cemetery with her and her husband's name on it.
When the cemeteries of San Francisco were emptied and the remains re-interred, the location of the original headstone was lost.
Some of the headstones from Lone Mountain Cemetery were broken up and used to pave drainage gutters at Buena Vista park. Most pieces were placed printed side down, but a few pieces with names and dates are visible in the drains.
Many of the unclamied headstones from the historical cemeteries of San Francisco were dumped into the footing for the San Francisco end of the Golden Gate bridge. Others were used in sea walls and break-waters around San Francisco.(Removal From Laurel Hill is Presumed) A Gravemarker once existed
in the now-defunct Laurel Hill Cemetery, San Francisco for:

Co. Alabama, died June 17, 1883, aged 39 yrs.,ll mo8.,23 days.
Emma Toulmin, daughter of Edward B. & Ann Tremlett Perrin,

Philip Burt, native of South Carolina, born March 26, 1803,
died December 7, 1878.
