Brush of Brooklyn, survive. survived by unnamed widow; one of the pioneers of the Wallabout Market...an ardent Methodist, an active member of the East NY church, and for many years superintendent of the Sunday School.

Zophar Brush, a brother of Senator George W. Brush, died on Friday at the home of his neice, Mrs. Luke Eldert, 718 Quincy Street, Brooklyn. He was 53 years old and was a native of Huntington, LI. He was engaged in mercantile persuits all his life, and when the Wallabout Market was opened 15 years ago established himself there as a wholesale commision merchant. Mr. Brush was a member of the Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church, having been for many years Superintendent of the Sunday school. The funeral will be held at the church this afternoon.
