Funeral Rites Held For Joseph B. Moore
Delegation of Association of Oldest Inhabitants Attends as Honorary Pallbearers
Funeral services for Joseph B. Moore who died Friday, in his ninety-second year, at his residence, 1311 Fairmont Street Northwest, were held at the family residence this morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. Dr. James B. Taylor, pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church, officiating. The interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery. The active pallbearers were four sons, one son-in-law and one grandson. They were J.E. Moore, T.P. Moore, W.N. Moore and D.P. Moore, sons; Dr. Seneca B. Bain, a son-in-law and Linwood T. Moore, a grandson. A delegation of the Association of the Oldest Inhabitants attended the funeral and interment, acting as honorary pallbearers.
