A photo of Dr. Thurman D. Kitchin published in 1929. He was President of Wake Forest College, 1930-1950. Physician and educator, he was born at Scotland Neck, N.C. the son of William Hodge Kitchin & Maria Arrington Kitchin, as one of 11 children.
