Harrison Abney, 60, of Spencer, passed away at Owen Valley Health Campus on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. He was born on May 19, 1949 in Cincinnati, OH to Melvin and Evelyn (Bowen) Abney. He served in the United States Navy. He worked as a press operator for International Paper in Cincinnati, and then worked as a security guard in Ohio.
Harrison is survived by his father, two sons both in the service, a sister, and two brothers.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn.
Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, January 23, 2010 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Rev. David Warren will officiate. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
