Fendleton Seymour Jackson, a former resident the neighborhood east of Lenox, died at his home in Helper, Kansas, March 26, 1935, at the age of 67 years.

He was born May 13 1868, in Appanoose county. Iowa, near Centerville.

He was married to Myra Vincent on October 22, 1890, near Lenox, who passed away May 22, 1914. at the age of 50 years. To them were born four children William, Helen, George and James.

Mr. Jackson later married Ellen Frederick of Helper, Kansas. He is survived by his widow, four children, three sisters and one brother. He was a man of sterling character, was a kind and loving father and will be greatly missed by his devoted family and his many friends.

He united with the Calvary Methodist, church at the age of 20 years and later transferred his membership to the Methodist church at Porterville, Kans.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Lenox, Friday, March 29, conducted by the Rev. F. L. Shepherd. Music was furnished by Mrs. J. H. Barber and Mrs. W. H. Madden, with Mrs. Peacock at the piano. Burial was made in the Lenox cemetery.
