Betty Ann Trotter, 73 of Vivian, LA passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Wayne Shew. Burial will follow at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Vivian. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 12th at the funeral home.
Betty was born December 8, 1942 in Morgan City, LA and lived in Vivian since 1968. She was a member of Gray Baptist Church. She loved to sew and she was very good at it. She also loved to crochet.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Ganaway and Willa Mae Peninger Ganaway, and her son Bobby Joe Trotter. She is survived by her husband Blanchard Trotter of Vivian, LA, her children; Polly Gordon and husband Darin of Denton, TX, and Ray Trotter of Vivian, LA, her 3 brothers; Floyd Ganaway and wife Deana of Ruidoso, NM, Earl Ganaway of Lubbock, TX, Billy Ray Ganaway and wife Suzy of Hobbs, NM.
Pallbearers will be Darin Gordon, Floyd Ganaway, Earl Ganaway, Billy Ray Ganaway, Ricky Ganaway, and Michael Ganaway.
