Elizabeth Eleanor Stell, daughter of John King Stell and Rachael (Steel) Stell, was born 9 November 1836 in Arkansas. She married Rev. James Harrison Baird, son of James Ithamar Baird and Susan McAllister, on 16 February 1854 in Dallas County, Arkansas. Rev. Baird was later pastor of a church in Greenville. Betty died before 1900, presumably as James had remarried. She was buried in the Bethel Cemetery located 5 miles south of Greenville, Hunt County, Texas. Family records state burial in this cemetery but no headstone or other record has been found.
