Rev. Miner Swallow was the son of Capt. Joseph L. and Mary "Polly" A. (Cooper) Swallow. He was the husband of Eliza May (Dodson) Swallow. They were married April 18, 1841. Eliza died January 15, 1893. Rev. Swallow was a minister in the Wyoming Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
