Uncle Samuel Cotton died this week at the advanced age of 85 years. He was one of the oldest residents of Searcy County: he lived a consistent Christian life: he was a member of the Baptist church and was loved and respected by all. He leaves several sons who are among Searcy county's best citizens. WE say to the bereaved relatives "sorrow not as others who have no hope" but try to be prepared to meet the loved ones before. He died at the home of his son Samuel Cotton Jr.
