A celebration of life and potluck will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at River Road Park & Recreation in Eugene for Donald McIntyre of Eugene, who died Jan. 28 of heart failure. He was 56.
He was born Nov. 7, 1953, in Mt. Shasta, Calif., to Donald and Elta Paul McIntyre. Shirley Wahto was his life partner.
He worked for the railroad, the Eugene School District and the University of Oregon.
Survivors include his life partner; a daughter, Jeannine of Eugene; a son, Vance of Eugene; and a sister, Katherine Wurtenberger of Arkansas.
