Udall -- Townsley, Marion A., 78, homemaker, died Tuesday, March 28, 1989. Service 2 p. m. Saturday. Rinde-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home, Arkansas City.
Survivors: sons, Robert Mike of Bangkok, Thailand, Jon R. of Winfield, William H. of Kansas City, Kans.; daughters, Beverly Hartmann of West Yellowstone, Mont., Ruth A. Martin of Rose Hill; brothers, Maynard Hart of Wichita; 17 grandchildren; three great-grand-children. Memorials have been established with the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.

MARION ANABELLE (HART) TOWNSLEY

Marion A. Townsley, 78, for Udall, died Tuesday at Heritage Village in Rose Hill.

The daughter of Harry L. and Hazel H. Clark Hart, she was born Feb 11,1912, in rural Winfield. She attended Winfield schools and graduated from Winfield High School in 1931. She attended Southwestern College one year and played on the McGregor Hardware softball team.

On June 15, 1936, she married John Delbert Townsley in Sedan. They lived in several Kansas comunittied including Winfield and Derby where he worked in construction.

She was a member of Derby First Christian Church.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Mike Townsley, Bangkok, Thailand, Jon R. Townsley of Winfield and William H. Townsley of Kansas City, Kan; two daughters, Beverly Hartmann, West Yellowstone, Mont, and Ruth A. Martin of Rose Hill; one brother, Maynard Hart of Wichita; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rindt-Erdman Olroyd Chapel with the Rev. Frank T. Springer officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Memorial have been established with the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
