Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Ruby McClure, who passed away in a Houston hospital Saturday morning.
Mrs. McClure was the widow of J. B. McClure and had lived most of her life in the Ora community near Huntington. She was a member of the Pentecostal church.
Mrs. McClure will lie in state at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Porter of Huntington.
Interment will be at Herrington Cemetery, Rev. K. W. Mott and Rev. J. H. Rogers will officiate.
Survivors include: son, Charlie McClure of Beaumont; daughter, Mrs. Bertha Porter; brothers, Charlie Conner, Bob Conner and Joe Conner, all of Huntington; sisters, Mrs. J. T. Allen of Diboll and Mrs. Jim Ivy of Huntington; and six grandchildren.
Gipson Funeral Home brought Mrs. McClure overland from Houston and will be in charge of arrangements.
