Services Set For Mrs Sylvia Brown
Funeral services for Mrs Sylvia L Brown, 80, R.R.2, Greensburg, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial will be in the cemetery there.
Mrs Brown, a resident of R.R.2, Greensburg for 14 years, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Memorial Hospital here at 11:30 a.m. Saturday after suffering a heart attack at Michigan Hill Nursing Home where she had been a guest for the past two years.
Born in Switzerland County Nov 29, 1892, she was the daughter of Joseph and Dora Peters Boyd.
She was married at Vevay, March 23, 1913, to William A Brown, who preceded her in death in 1954 while the couple was residing at Aurora.
Surviving are: a brother, Lewis Boyd, R.R.7, Greensburg; two sisters, Mrs Nora Miller, Breckenridge, Tex., and Mrs. Della Geller, California; a half-brother, Joseph Manser, Aurora; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Charles and Harvey Boyd, both of Illinois; and two half-brothers, Omer and Otto Manser.
