Cornelius Van Schaak Roosevelt, a grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt and former Central Intelligence Agency official, died August 2 of a heart attack in his home. He was 75.
Roosevelt was also an engineer and business executive who worked in China, an art collector and amateur archaeologist. A Navy veteran, he had traveled the world from Haiti to the Red Sea as a scuba diving instructor.
A native of New York, he attended Harvard University and was graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He joined the CIA in Washington in 1952.
