Bobby Ray was the fourth child born to Mabel Opal McMillian and Archie Ray Quesenberry. He was born in Carroll County, VA, prior to the family moving to Maryland.
When Bobby arrived in Vietnam 8 July 1969, he was assigned to D Company, 502nd Infantry, 101st Airborne Division, USARV.
D Company was on a combat patrol when Bobby detonated a hostile booby trap
explosive device and died as a result of fragmentation wounds to the body.
Survived by his wife, Deborah L Quesenberry, his daughter and his mother; Mable O Quesenberry and sister; Brenda Kay all of Apt #102, 6809 Riggs Road, Hyattsville, Maryland and his father; Archie R Quesenberry of 51 Cresent Road, Greenbelt, Maryland.
