Ben Stabile, 82, of 1123 Garvin Place, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Anthony Hospital. Stabile was a retired wholesale Fruit Dealer. He was a native of Alcamo, Sicily. He came to the United States in 1904 and was naturalized in 1912. He was a member of St. Louis Bertrand Church. Survivors are his widow, the former Mary J. Brumleve; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Dolle and Mrs. H. L. Gehring, and seven grandchildren. His brother is Dr. Vincent Stabile. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Bertrand Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison, after 4 p.m. Monday.
