Priscilla D. (Dawes) DArrigo, 67, passed away peacefully March 12, 2010, after courageously battling cancer. She was born Jan. 10, 1943, in Brockton, a daughter of the late Richard and Esther (Gillis) Dawes. She was raised in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School in 1961. Mrs. DArrigo worked in the finance department at Wallen Electronics in Brockton and then Chapman Manufacturing Co. in Avon and most recently in customer service and as a cashier at Stop & Shop in Grafton. Priscilla loved to read and go to the Grafton Library and enjoyed being with the Knitting Club at the Baptist Church of Grafton. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica A. Sheehan, and her children Samantha, Patrick, Alexandra and Timothy, all of Grafton; two sons, Joseph L. DArrigo of Luther, Okla., and Jonathan DArrigo and his wife Christen, and their children, Haylie, Alison and Nicholas, all of San Antonio, Texas. Also survived by her former husband, Joseph A. DArrigo; her aunt, Laura Arena her husband Frank; and several cousins. Memorial donations may be made in her name, in lieu of flowers, to Grafton Food Bank or American Cancer Society. All are invited to calling hours Friday, March 19, in the Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., in North Grafton, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., concluding with a prayer service at noon. A graveside committal of her ashes in Melrose Cemetery in Brockton will be held at a date to be announced. A guest book may be signed at www.roneyfuneralhome.com.
