Lawrence Roberts

CENTERVILLE - Lawrence Richard (Lank) Roberts, age 79, died May 28, 1982, in a Salt Lake City hospital.

Born August 18, 1902 at Centerville, to Brigham Henry and Celia Ann Dibble Roberts. Married Olive Viola Leak, September 23, 1932, Salt Lake City. Member LDS Church. Member of the 1920 Championship basketball team at Davis High School. He worked for Porter Walton Co. and Utah Idaho Sugar Co. Gardening was his special hobby.

Survived by daughters, Mrs. LaRelle J (Jacqueline Deanna) Hatch, South Jordan; Mrs. Randall V. (Anita Rae) Douglass, Eugene, Oregon, 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the Centerville 1st-11th Ward Chapel, 160 South and 300 East. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the ward chapel, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment Centerville Cemetery
